sometimes you read something that you swore was a straight transcription of your own thoughts. and for us, we call that feeling “reading jess&josh.”

we can’t even really explain how great it feels to read these things that affirm all those things we’ve been trying to shout from rooftops seemingly forever. yes, maybe it sucks that we’re just nodding our heads in accordance; maybe it’s preaching to the converted. but WE DIG THAT. we play devil’s advocate too much. and we get caught up in debate (even if it’s the good kind). so it’s nice every once in a while to read something and say, “oh yes, yes. i completely agree.”

so with that being said, we will direct you straight to jess roy’s post about the institution of marriage and the fact that jessica valenti is not a feminist bridezilla for taking part. thank fucking god. WE APPROVE!
